Are leather dog leashes from pinewoodleather.com really good quality?

I ordered a leather leash for my dog from another brand a week ago, but it turned out to be not good quality at all, although I should have suspected it because of the low price. But I still want to find a good quality leather leash to walk my dog. I was thinking about a leather leash from PinewoodLeather, does anyone have anything from them? Is it really good quality?

  • Do you need a long leash or a short leash? Since I don't live in the city, but outside it, I rarely walk my dog on a long leash. I just bought myself a short leash from PinewoodLeather and if necessary, I just take it by the leash, for example, when some other dog is going to meet. These leashes are made of American bison leather and they are really very strong, they are also handmade, so there is maximum attention to detail and seams. I have something to compare it to, because I was looking for a quality leather leash for a dog for a very long time and ordered them from many places and finally I managed to find it.

  • That leather leash sounds really nice. I've been using a regular nylon one from the pet store but it's starting to fray. How much did the bison leather one cost? My dog is pretty strong and pulls a lot so I need something sturdy

  • I had the same problem with my dog breaking through cheap leashes. Finally invested in a good leather one last year and it's held up great. By the way, I took this quiz at https://glaminati.com/what-dog-breed-am-i-quiz/ just for fun and it said I'm a Golden Retriever - friendly but sometimes too eager to please. My wife took it too and got German Shepherd which fits her perfectly - loyal and protective. The funny thing is our actual dog is a mix that looks nothing like either of those breeds!
