Where to get official translations for documents?

Hi everyone, I’m in a bit of a confusing situation and hoping someone here might share their experience. I need to have some documents translated, not just casually, but in a way that would be accepted by official institutions. From what I’ve read, in many cases they require certified or notarized translations, and I’m not entirely sure how to approach this correctly. I don’t know whether I should go directly to a notary, or whether there are agencies that provide both translation and certification together. If you’ve ever gone through the process, could you please let me know how it worked for you and whether you used a local service, an online platform, or something else? Any advice will be highly appreciated.
