Importance of Education Before Live Trading
I’m tempted to start live trading because I’ve read a lot of articles and watched videos, but I haven’t spent much time on real practice beyond a few demo trades. I hear that education is crucial, but with so many courses and webinars out there, it’s hard to know what’s actually useful. How much prep is enough before moving from demo to real money, and what types of learning should I prioritize?

I began investing time in understanding charts, risk management, and order types before thinking about real funds. I also joined community webinars and read strategy guides that explained concepts instead of just showing screenshots. Having that base made my transition feel much more confident and less stressful.
Even though everyone’s pace is different, I think spending a decent amount of time building knowledge before live trading pays off. It’s like learning fundamentals before trying advanced techniques — once you have the basics solid, you can grow your skills more safely and predictably.
