How can interactive campaigns reduce road accidents among young people?
I don’t usually post here, but this topic really made me think. Just the other day, my cousin told me how one of his classmates got into a motorbike accident — he was speeding, no helmet, filming for TikTok. Thankfully, he’s okay now, but it shook everyone. It’s like young people don’t take road safety seriously until something bad happens. I keep wondering — what actually works when it comes to getting through to them? Traditional warnings and signs just don’t stick anymore. Maybe something more engaging or interactive can help, but what would that even look like? Anyone seen something that really worked?

Interactive on the road? Definitely not. In my city there was recently a vehicle, kind of like a mini truck. Its whole body was covered with screens showing bright ads. It looks very flashy, but I’m sure it’s dangerous because it takes away too much attention from where it should actually be focused. How to promote road safety and awareness, I honestly don’t know. For me it’s something obvious by default, not something that needs constant reminders.
