From my point of view, the best new functionnality would be the capability to add an audio track. I know we can record a sample and then add it in a midi track, but it would be really great if we could directly record an audio track and then just work on it in the track.
Another vote for the synthstation25 here. MIDI controllers in general are important, but the iphone/ipodtouch can't use the camera connection kit for USB MIDI via CoreMIDI yet.
I use nanostudio to record patterns with the synthstation25, but since I started using beatmaker2 I like everything about it alot more than nanostudio. The effects, the interface, the lack of a limit on the number of instruments/channels... the most important thing to me is that i can perform directly into beatmaker instead of recording in nanostudio, exporting the samples, then using them in the drummachine in beatmaker. That's a pretty clumsy way to do it, but it's the only way i've found.
While we're suggesting things, being able to import audio and MIDI directly into a track or instrument (respectively) would be a great addition.
Hi all
I own a mpk mini since yesterday and I'm eager to use my favorite iOS app up and running with core midi support and in a very cool (probably) iPad flavor.

Cheers! and thanx!
Soundfont for me, because i have a big soundbank on my computer and some good softwares for make the conversion to soundfont format. My second choice is the core midi for the alesis studiodock
Congratulations to the team for this incredible software!!!
Me & my friends would LOVE to see a feature that would allow you to play a part of a project by just hitting one pad. Keeping the same tempo and stuff, but just change what you hear by hitting a pad, or various pads. This would help out in live performances. The only alternate that I see is to record different tracks & then soloIng them. I want to be able to record 2 loops & switch between them smoothly. What do you guys think??
Thank you all for your participation! We are now closing this poll for the next major BeatMaker 2 update.
We will be making more polls in the future by taking all your new suggestions.
