I love this app. and am thoroughly enjoying uploading my own beats and playing with them on the iPod Touch.
Best $20 I've spent this year (except perhaps some med's for my insomnia).

And a microtonal function, ready to manipulate notes and intervals, in whatever number to need.
would it be possible ? thanks
As you can imagine i have a huge collection of samples and have constructed some killer kits but cannot for the life of me upload them to my iphone another issue i will look in to.
It reminds me of Kontact and a MPC which is superb could do with a vitual instrument and maybe a low bypass fiter for some cutoff and res on loops etc....
Just some things i have running round my head but killer app
profundis.
and mute out all the samples but the beat samples.
You can also play with the FX to isolate the beat and silence the rest.
THANK YOU.
Great product. I really feel that if BeatMaker can include a keyboard (along with multi-sample and/or simple synth capabilities) to write melodies/chord changes and a way to actually export the entire session for professional mixdown in logic or protools, then it will be the end all program for music production. I'm already impressed, but waiting for the day that Intua includes some of the remarkable editing capabilities of Xewton (I purchased both). Xewton is great for song sketching but the sounds are amature. BeatMaker's ability to import samples and work in 44.1k make it far superior for actually composing something that can make it to the final mix. Thanks again, Intua, and please give me a keyboard to write chord changes/melody with!

oops, sorry if this should have been placed in the "future updates" section.

I run a music recording and production studio in
Norway, I am a performing musician as well and I have a lot of solo shows
as a pianoentertainer. I recently bought the Beatmaker and I think its
awsome, the best drum machine only with absolutely no controls for
playing it live!!! As you probably know every musician making advanced
beats using their own samples they already have a pc, laptop so without
the live option your beat maker is incomplete and just another gadget
wasting space in my iphone.
I need another page that allows me to play patterns, for example 3
patterns and a fill in, doing it in the seqencer page is not practical
as a drum machine, only as a song building option. That page should have
also a quick control for changing projects and tempo (and big buttons).
Please send this forward to whoever is in charge of developing this
program and make it the best drum machine ever!!!!
Thank you.
This is not the proper place for those posts.
Thank you.
I will pay it for 8 euro;-))
Can you do that guys;-))
Cheers

I became somewhat intimate with beatmaker2 several months ago and then stopped using. Wish i would have thought of this sooner, but for giggles i just tried to see how well the Beatsurfing app plays with Beatmaker. The setup was simpler than with any other ios app i have previously tried. i was also using multiple tracks and was making wonk beats in [no time] < (no pun intended i was controlling Modrum as well in the background.
Thanks to MIDI learn and CC support in BM2...with these two apps alone, i finally found a fun way for my taste to use the ipad live without a computer. I have a professional DAW ect...but i been trying to brainstorm a minimalistic setup for busking purposes for some time now. I can't wait =-D
And with audiobus coming soon...it just goes without saying. i'm so glad to be back and it feels good to know which apps are worth practicing now that i been around the ios block. No more distractions! Finally some sense of direction. Nice. Now back to the manual.
