Intua: Please clarify the 1.3 update

Myself, like most people who received word about the 1.3 update are actually curious about its status. Has the app been submitted to Apple for approval or are you still doing internal testing? The newsletter and website update were both vague in nature and can be interpreted many ways. Please clear this up! It'd be much appreciated <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" /><!-- s:) -->

    My beatmaker program will only create one long drum roll until the 1.3. release.

    Should be a lot of fun ....worth the wait.

    Hello,

    We have been polishing the new update, and it should be sent to Apple today or tomorrow.
    We believe it should be available on the App Store fairly quickly by then.

    Yeah, I'm checking all the time too! I have a RSS feed from <!-- w --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.apptism.com">www.apptism.com</a><!-- w --> that lets me know when applications get updated or new ones are added.

    sad but true, its not today either, and thats based on my understanding that they update the app store daily, and the hq is in pacific time zone.

    It's not that we "can't wait" any longer. It's just aggravating to wait every day only to be told wait till tomorrow and 'maybe' it will be out. It's not too hard to let people know what's going on. As fans we just don't like the silent treatment. Personally, I would much rather of NOT heard anything until the project was completed (it woulda saved me hours of time checking up on it). I suppose everybody has a different definition of the word 'soon'. <!-- s:? --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_confused.gif" alt=":?" title="Confused" /><!-- s:? -->

    Lastly, Apple does update their appstore 24/7 so when it is finally submitted we could see it added any time of the day.

    sooo... when is the 1.4 update coming out?.....just kidding intua...thanks for the hard work, my live ,mpc2500 and my beatmarker are all playing nicely togetherl..lots of fun!!! any word on a Beatpack upate?

    Does anyone know if there's going to be an update to the way we connect the iPhone to our computers? Maybe something through USB rather than that troublesome wifi/IP address connection...

    That would be nice if this came out by Monday night before I get on the plane to go to Korea on Tuesday. I plan on using Beatmaker a lot on the plane.

    Sadly, I don't think that Intua has submitted the 1.3 update to App Store yet...
    It normally takes 1 to 2 days to approve and post the new App on Apple Appstore these days <!-- s;) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_wink.gif" alt=";)" title="Wink" /><!-- s;) -->

    Hey all,

    I am as excited for this update as ya'll.. but as a developer who has worked on music apps.. cut Intua some slack. What they did is not easy.. and there have been known issues with the 2.2 iphone update with audio, so maybe they are dealing with that now to ensure we don't get a buggy app against v2.2 iphone audio changes. I am anxious as well and check my iphone appstore button several times a day... mostly because I want to know the "and many other" features.. they didn't say we get more pads/voices.. so hoping that is a hidden surprise. Even so, I don't think Intua is being secretive.. they said an update is coming soon, I believe them. We all know this is a kick ass app, we know the update is going to bring us lots more goodies.. so relax... let Intua get it done and we'll all be the happier.
