  I didn't catch the explanation on chopping....Although you did a decent job on the wave editor you could have been a little more thorough on the chop feature. <!-- s:D --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_biggrin.gif" alt=":D" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s:D -->

  Chopping is real easy. Basically in the "sample" menu you'll touch "select" so you can pick the pads you want the "chops" to be on. Generally picking 4 or 8 pads is good because samples are mostly in 4/4 timing. Once you pick the number of pads and location you want them to be chopped you'll touch the "chop" button in the sample menu. Once here navigate to the file you want to chop, highlight it, then touch "load". If you want to edit/fine tune the samples further you can go ahead and follow the tutorial SS provided for the wav editor.

  Yeah, chopping is rather simple.....Once you read the manual or play around with it for a while. I was just suggesting that since SS-beats vid says "Slice and Chop" in the title, he should have discussed how to chop samples. I think the vid (while done well) would have been more appropriately named "using the wave editor in Beatmaker". <!-- s:D --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_biggrin.gif" alt=":D" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s:D -->
