Hey Ron (and Mrs G), thanks so much for taking the time to listen and vote at this busy time. We certainly missed having an entry from you but we also all understand how work and life can sometimes play havoc with your free time — hopefully you will rejoin us in January?
As for my entry, I suspect you may be disappointed. Most of the track is built around a midi file I found for the traditional English Christmas Carol “Adam Lay Ybounden” (link below). I had lots of fun mixing up the voicings, and also added a few chord changes and flourishes, but I can’t claim it as an original composition.
Overall a fun challenge, congrats on everyone who managed to get something finished. I got some minor traction on reddit and am up to 399 listens which is way above my average for a couple days.
Also I pledged $10 to the charity and need to know where to send it.

I actually used to never sample before I got into BM3 because I knew I could never match the quality of Premiere, Alchemist, 9th, Just Blaze, even Kanye (old Kanye Lol). But I’ve pretty much been more sample based and feel like I’m getting there. I gotta get back to my chords and synths in 2019 though. lol.
