Using Different Kits on Same Beat?

Is that possible. Every time i try and switch it just plays the beats from the new kit.

For example. Lets same i make a beat with the Demo kit and then i want to switch to another kit that has the piano. when i switch over my beat is over written with the new piano kit.

    yeah that sucks..what i do is that the left over pads i did not use i just load the instruments i want into that particular pad..but if you used all your 16 instruments i do not know...good luck
