I Don't feel like paying for the Itouch update to get new Beatmaker update just for the 2 new kits, that I'm not going to use for anything. I haven't even checked out the old ones...
Trust me bro, upgrading is the best thing ( I feel like I'm a spokes person for apple right now...lol ) since I've done it, for some reason it runs a lot better, and now I could use my stereo blue tooth headset when I'm making beats on the train or so forth. It's totally worth it...

However if you are talking about the firmware update, you realy should do it.
It has so much to it it is well worth the money!!!
So much improvement ,you would have to visit the Apple website for all the specs.!!
