But I suggest to get Beatmaker 2 ready for launch pretty soon to not be driven out of business by Akai's App which right now just seems way ahead of beatmaker, your version 1 will simply not be able to compete (it might offer a few extra features for special purposes but people will simply not realize that anymore when Akai launches its marketing campaign)...
Beatmaker's was one of the most innovative interfaces ever. So much functionality in such a tiny space. And a tiny price. It will be ridiculously liberating for ALL the iphone DJ/Audio apps to have the 10inch real-estate of the iPad. And liberating for all of us who make-do with iphone space limitations 'cause it's still insane to have the much power in your pocket. Looking forward to seeing what Intua can do with all that space, to kick some beats, and to kick some competitor-ass!

Intua Team.
yaaaaaayyy! I been down since day 1.
As long as akai keep those 9 pads, its still beat makers court.
If they update to 16, watch out!
Great. Day one purchase for me... <!-- s:D --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_biggrin.gif" alt=":D" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s:D -->

thank you Intua so much! : )
Day one purchase for me too.
That's what I've been thinking. It's not that I want to read books or surf the net with that machine. I'd use it for music.
