Crucial features for update.

edited July 2008 in General
My favorite earbuds have no volume control. A master volume slider is a big deal, as the metronome alone is deafening w/ standard buds.

On the topic of the metronome, being able to load a custom sample for the metnome would be key.

Aside, I echo the request for multiple pad banks, tempo shift feature and the ability to export straight to the playlist would rock.

Great work so far, team.

EDIT: Also, any chance of FX plug-ins / add-ons in the future? The FX area seems suited for expansion.

I Loves me some BeatMaker!!!

I agree the volume is WAY too loud. I'm using Westone UM2s, and it was unbearable.
What I'm doing as a work around is enabling the EQ on the master channel, and then sweeping them all down the same amount.

    Hello,

Main volume control will be included in the next BeatMaker update, coming soon.

    Intua Team.

    Glad to hear!

In the meantime, you can adjust the volume by going in your 'normal' ipod music and play any song. Adjust the volume there accordingly and it will reflect in BeatMaker.

EDIT: This does not work as G Lampa pointed out in his post below.

That was the first thing I tried, and it had absolutely no effect on BeatMaker's volume.

Did you get results this way?

I can adjust the beatmaker output volume with the volume control buttons on the left side of the iPhone. Works like a charm.

G Lampa: you are right. There is no effect on BeatMaker volume when you adjust ipod music volume.
I was pretty sure it had an effect until you questioned it and I tried it again. Turned the volume all the way down in ipod and BeatMaker was still blasting away loud and clear.

mate: I guess G Lampa and I are using an iPod and not the iPhone.

That explains. I have the Touch; no hardware volume control.

Just found out that using the "Device Volume" in the settings of Cro Mag Rally affects the Beatmaker volume too.So Im gonna use it till the update comes.
