Problem with installing

Hi!

For some reason I can't get the BM2 to install in to my Itouch. I have the 2 generation Itouch with the latest ios 4.2.1. it really does not give any reason why it won't install. I also tried it through appstore directly from itouch, it gave the following :"p2 reqiredcapabilities.this.app.requires." I don't know what it means.

Can anyone help me out here.

Hi man.. Sorry to tell you but if you have an ipod 3 generation 8 gig or or anything older than this...This will not be available for those older pods and phones due to the processor not being able to handle BM2's heavy calculations ... I have the same problem with my ipod.. <!-- s:| --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_neutral.gif" alt=":|" title="Neutral" /><!-- s:| --> I just missed the boat, because my ipod is that 3g 8gig... but I have an iphone 3gs that works for it...

So I'm guessing my model(3rd gen 8 GB) will indefinitely be unable to use BM2? Yeah, it will work if u have 4th Gen 8 GB.

It states on iTunes that the iPod Touch 3G is compatible with BeatMaker 2 and it does not state the memory requirement, is this correct?

Hello,

The problem is that iTunes incorrectly distinguishes 3rd generation models. iPod Touch 3rd gen below the 32GB version are not real 3rd generation, but are the same as iPod Touch 2rd Generation.
They do not have the new armv7 processor which is required by BeatMaker 2.

The BeatMaker 2 app store description has been updated to make this fact clearer.
If you purchased BeatMaker 2 and your device is not compatible, please contact the App Store customer support, as we unfortunately do not have access to individual sales.
