Recording Request

edited February 2011 in Support
Hi,

When i record my guitar using Peavey Ampkit, it seems that the sound is not routed to my headphone (i hear the beatmaker drumkit beat but not my guitar)

You can imagine that it's not really usable that way.

Is there something i do wrong or shall i need to wait for an update ?

    hi,

I connect my Peavey Ampkit to iphone with headphone and my guitar jack plugged.
I do my beat with a drum machine 01 instrument on track 1 and loop it.
(OOhh what a superb drumbeat in my headphone....)
I create a drum machine 02 and select a pad in it (Ex A.1).
I hit the sample item on the left bar.
Select Record. Audio recording screen appears.
Hit the record button. Then Playing my guitar on beat, i see on the bargraph meter that my guitar sound is recording but nothing is routed to my headphone...

Is there something i do wrong ?

O so you arent hearing your guitar? I see. Thats probably because BM2 doesnt amplify guitars...Im not sure how that kit works though.

    Yeah that'd be me...
fact is I don't own a Peavy ampkit. It might be a better idea to ask the dev behind that hardware.

This is not an hardware problem.
It's the app that do not route the mixed audio out when recording.
I hear the beat from the drummachine but the audio in i'm playing (guitar) is well recorded but not routed while i'm playing to the audio out (headphone).
    It's a software parameter !
