limit on size importing samples

Hi!

I am trying to import a sample that is 2 minutes long. Getting the sample into the BeatMaker2 directory works fine but when I want to load it as a pad in the drummachine it says "Invalid Sample". It s a stereo 16 bit 44.1Khz sample. I have tried both wav and aif. Is there a memory limit in the sample import?

    I'm sure there's a sample size limit for memory reasons. A 16bit WAV that's 2 minutes long is going to be around 20MB. That's pretty hefty. Try splitting it into several pieces and spreading it over pads.
