fx bus

Please help Ive read the manual and i know how to add fx bus i know how to apply the fxs but when i do this i dont hear a difference in overall sound is there a step Im missing. Also could anyone recommend a studio mixer (equalizer with effects) that works with bm2 so i can polish up the overall sound of my compositions. Still having problems downloading. The manual i believed left out some steps for fz i saw the song but didnt know how to extract it from fz. Im using windows7 bm2 is on my iphone 4.
P.S. BY THE WAY INTUA TEAM HELL OF A UPGRADE.

    Hi,

    You need to connect either an instrument track (from the Mixer window) or an individual pad (pad output from the Drum Machine) to an FX track first to hear the results.
    The manual explains how to do so in the "Mixer" and "Drum Machine" ("Mixer" screen) sections.
