FL studio mobile

edited May 2011 in General
I have been very excited to hear the news of fl studio coming to iPhone. I wanted to send them some feature requests but they don't have a forum up until the product releases. I realized after looking for a way to ensure my new app dreams would come true that I could just ask beatmaker to add a feature. I love LOVE beatmaker 2. It was a bit daunting at first but now I'm growing to appreciate all the finer details. However here is my request. A vocal track. Or the option on "add track" to import a wav file directly into the timeline. Aka I record vocals in voicejam with the autotune feature and can quickly import it into beatmaker. Or create a great arp line in dopplerpad and drop it into the timeline.

I know this is doable! Also a "live mode" for tracks in the timeline. Aka tap the track name and it mutes or plays. Hold it down for track options. Or have an option to enable live mode.

I hope y'all can do this! I believe you can

Thanks for a great product!!!

    Hi,

    Thank you for your message.
To tell you the truth, we are thinking about adding audio tracks to BM2 in a future update.

    Cheers,
    Colin

From what I understand "FL Mobile" is just a pretty Music Studio. I know that the developers of Music Studio of iOS are developing it, and not Imageline. BM2 and NS have the jump on them, as they are both maturing apps. If it was Gol and friends actually developing it, then I would get pretty excited.

Iove beatmaker 2. It's great. I am really excited about fl studio because of the integration with it's pc sister software. Not because I think it will be amazing. But like ns and bm i hope it will have it's strengths and be able to pull up what is possible on iOS in some way. I assume it would be better as well if imageline was actually doing it but who knows. The actual software is amazing. Been using it for ten years. I think if competition increases for the mobile music studio leader the software will have to grow grow grow. And I like that bm keep up the good work. You are number one by my vote.
