Beatmaker add on for computer

edited January 2013 in General
I was just wondering if your ever going to make like a computer version of beatmaker where you can use your ipod/iphone/ipad with it by connecting it to the computer. I personally would think this would be pretty awesome
oh and will there be a beatmaker 3 for like £20 or are there just going to be updates for beatmaker 2 (i prefer the updates, so much cheaper).

Hi,

We might do a desktop version of BeatMaker in the future.
As for the updates, a major one is coming on soon (version 2.1), and it'll be free for current owners of course!

Cheers,
Colin

WOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHH!
Cant wait for that !
Oh and is there a way to import other instruments to the keyboard because i cant seem to find any power chords/power synths to suit this little beat i'm making? or can you somehow make this sound using the effects?

Remember you can also create your own sampled-instrument in the Keyboard Sampler.:
- Create an empty Keyboard Sampler
- Go to Settings and then scroll down to the Mapping screen
- Press the Load button and choose any sample
- Enjoy a chromatically pitch-spread keyboard version of your sample!

Cheers,

Why cant you guys just do the same thing that the makers of nanostudio have done and make a mirror version of the ipad app for the computer?. this will make archiving our beats made on beatmaker much more easier and quick edits so us to then take our beats into Reason or FLstudio.

It would be ill but seems like the guys have enough work on their hands updating BM2 for iphone and ipad

But how about a tool to convert mpc PGM's to BM Kits?

Would the desktop version be free? I only ask b/c Nanostudio's sales model was you can try it free on it computer, but if you want it on your phone to take it everywhere, you have to pay, was that what you guys were thinking?

Desktop BM is not needed. Rather have BM's time put into updates and making it a stand along DAW.

The ability to create presets on a traditional computer would be nice.
It would be more helpful to have an updated beat pack instead of a whole new desktop app.
And skins for the drum machine
