Sample kits and keyboard downloads

edited June 2011 in General
Will there be like a beatmaker store where you can download drum machine samples and like keyboard packs so i could just quickly go into there and get like a guitar pack for the keyboard and a hip hop pack for the drum machine?

    INTUA PLEASE NOTE!

We need a system like refills on reason, for purchasing, trading, and workflow with beatmaker2 projects.

And it needs to be able to go out via dropbox or email ?

At the moment there is no such thing but i find it entirely to limited to have to use crapzilla for file stuff as it works only half the time for me.

IPhone explorer works great. Try it out.

It is something we are currently investigating to develop.

hey everybody, what i do for now in the drum machine is i find 808 wav or whatever other files and i drop them into the beatpack, it automatically turns the file into bmkz files and i just use filezilla to transfer the files over. you can download beatpack on the intua website. for the keyboard it gets a bit tricky but you can get wav sounds transfer them into bmkz files like the drum machine and then go to the empty keyboard, go to keyboard mapping and load the samples there and it plays the melody great. im sure they have vst to wav convertors but you have to research them. so much you can do now with this program its crazy. hope this post helped

Has anyone created their own keyboard sounds? What results did u get? I was going to get the samples from some of my VSTs to load into beatmaker so i can get more punchy, ambient synth sounds, but i don't know if it will be just "one-shots" or actually play like the stock preset sounds. I really like this app, the sounds are my only complaint so far, but if i can add to the library and it will play like an actual patch and not a sample, i can live with that.

Its easiest for me is to just load all my samples into BM and then load a sample to each pad. bypass BMKZ flies. Takes a little longer but more control.
Make BMKZ for your must used samples.

And samples load to the Keyboard work great!

When i imported a song to my sound library, i trimmed it so i only got the voice part and then imported that voice sample into the keyboard and what happened (which i thought was pretty cool but not how i wanted it to be) was i imported in to c3 i think and then when i pressed any not above that it played it in a higher pitch but faster and vice versa for any not below it, is there anyway to set it so it doesn't change the speed when you press a lower note?

Play the base key...or maybe you adjusted the semitones? in settings.

The Keyboard sampler modifies the pitch (which affects the speed) automatically. If you do not want to have the speed changed, you will need to Pitch Shift your sample manually for each semitone and assign it to the correct key zone. Real-time pitch shifting is something hard to achieve on mobile platforms because it is a very CPU intensive process, but hopefully we will be able to bring it in the future.

    Cheers,
