I got it last night, some nice sequencer features, and GUI is nice. However i think they left out alot, no master fader, you can't edit and tweak the drum pads like you can in BM2, or import samples. It crashed on me like 4 times, but i didn't lose my work. The synths sound really good, the stock instruments are awful to me compared to BM2, i really appreciate the presets in BM2 alot more now, lol. This is the first version, so i'm sure updates will follow soon, but, hey, a $20 app and i can get an entire song done, took me like 20 minutes after skimming the manual. Compared to how stylish it looks, i'l give it that over BM2, but the workflow/features, stability, i gotta say BM2 is way ahead for now.

I said it 50 times ima say it again...
Fl studio mobile is xewton music studio !!
Only xewton is going to have more features like Audio recording
Xewton music studio has better sounds and is cheaper as well
Fl studio mobile is a FAIL
Fl studio is built on the very premise of step sequencing samples....this knock off doesnt even deal with samples on the user end...which cracks me up...

So if you are considering buying fl studio mobile....instead buy xewton music studio!

I have both programs now, i got the crack version to see if its worth buying and so far beatmaker2 has both programs buried with tombstones. Im on beatmaker like 5 times a day having so much fun And dont worry i bought the beatmaker2 app. Cant wait for midi and ipad version. Im going to buy the akai mpk64 and rock out.

Got FL and except for the fact it has an iPad version, BM2 stomps it.

Yes, it is a dressed up Music Studio with better sounds..... It has potential, but has a ways to go to catch upmto BM2.

Nanostudio is better than all of these because of its great support and many options and updates. I was all about BM2, but when I couldn't even upgrade my phone software out of fear that I would lose all my songs, I had to go back to Nanostudio. Plus Nanostudio is always up to date with the latest, it has midi support for devices, export options are wonderful. Although I do really like the instruments best in BM2, but come on guys...give us some quality updates...we need midi at the very least!

nanostudio doesnt even have ipad version. but you can back up your songs through filezilla onto your computer, i think its best that way because it leave more memory for the ipad or iphone. beatmaker2 next update will have what nanostudio has plus more im sure of it. guess we have to wait and see. but so far beatmaker2 is the best and easiest program for me.

Have to agree with you

I just deleted Nanostudio, I don't have any use for it anymore. The big deal about NS for me was Eden. Great little synth, and I could copy and paste sounds from it to BM2. But I now have 5 excellent synths that also copy and paste into BM2 and discovered I just didn't use Eden so much anymore. BM2 sequences just as well as NS, and BM2's sample editing is way ahead of NS.

My wish list for BM2? Well, core midi and native iPad for sure. SF2 would also be awesome..... Some UI tweaks would be nice, but some of that could be fixed easy just by having iPad version..... Audio track or two would be nice as well....

Anyway, for me BM2 is the winner.....

About the only thing FL Studio Mobile and Music Studio have on BM2 is Synthstation 25 support.

FL Studio Mobile does have that nifty step sequencer that's fun to play with, but no sample input?!?

Other than that, BM2 is much better.
