Ready for Core Midi!

I got an Akai LPK25 keyboard a few days ago.... and now I can't wait for core midi in the BM2 update. I am now as stoked about that as I am about iPad version. Hope it happens soon <!-- s;) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_wink.gif" alt=";)" title="Wink" /><!-- s;) -->

Playing the little keyboard is perfect with the synths I have on my iPad, and FL Mobile.... but I'm REALLY wanting it in BM2.....

Hi, I'm also having trouble getting my Akai MPK MINI to work with 2.1 on the 1st gen iPad, any suggestions would be gratefully received <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" /><!-- s:) -->

I tried mine with an Axiom 49 controller yesterday...nothing. Not sure if it only works with certain controllers or what, intua please post what controllers were tested..i have an ipad 2, everything else works but coremidi

Be sure the "omni" thing is lit up near top left of screen. Also maybe adjust the midi on the master track, little midi icon.

It works great on both my midi keyboards,,,, a KeyRig 25 and the main one I use , see post above......

Also, some keyboards (my KeyRig 25 for example) require power like an AC adapter, the iPad does not have enough to power them via USB. My Akai works with nothing but the iPad, but if I use the KeyRig I have to have a wall wart.....

Is there any chance of the Synthstation25 being compatible with beatmaker any time soon?

Also, after installing any software (including updates) always re-boot!

For example, when I updated to 2.1.1 my Akai did not work..... But a simple reboot, and all was well......

I sure hope so - I guess technically it should work OK if you're sending it's MIDI to an iPad with the connector kit (doesn't help me any. <!-- s;) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_wink.gif" alt=";)" title="Wink" /><!-- s;) -->)
