Pads 7, 8 and 12 cancel each other out

edited August 2011 in Support
Hi, thanx for the update. If I load a loop to ether of these pads and any of the other two are ether taped or sequenced before the loop has played out, the loop cuts out. I know ways around it, it is just annoying is all. The problem occurs in all my projects and the latest update as well. I have a first gen IPad. I love this app. Worth more then we pay. Some users should lighten up.

Hi Johnbeats,

The factory drum presets use exclusive-groups (also known as choke-groups) for the hi-hats.
This way, they'll sound more realistic, as they will cancel each other out as a real hi-hat.

To disable the group:
- Go to the "trigger" drum machine menu (icon: a pad and a finger), then navigate to the 3rd page
- Enter multi-selection mode (MULTI button, on top) and select the pads (in your case: 7, 8, 12)
- Press the down arrow in the screen until the x-group is set to "NONE"

Also, you can just start with an empty drum machine (just cancel the LOAD PRESET browser when creating a new instrument).
No group is set by default in that case.

You can get more information about the drum machine and its controls in the manual,
which is available here: http://www.intua.net/media/intua/downlo ... Manual.pdf

Hope this helps!
Cheers.
