All data gone! Oh noooo!

Hi guys,
yesterday was a really bad bad day for me. I'm using Beatmaker2 for a couple of months now and I created a set of 30 Beats/Tracks. Yesterday I tried to import an acappella-mp3. But while the process was running BM2 looked like it can't finish the import. So, after watching the loading-animation for 20 min. I closed BM2 and tried to import the song again, but ...

My home-directory with AAAAAALL my data is destroyed. The datastructure seems to be crashed. I can't load any sample, beat or chop I ever did! That SUCKS so much (sorry for bad-lang.)!!! What can I do? Nothing! Right! I'm lost. My ass got kicked by a little app

Does anybody have an idea? I also tried to login via FTP to save my data, but ... "home directory not available".
Well, my next question would be: how can I get the discspace back. There are ca. 600MB of BM2-Data that are not accesible anymore

Please, GOD OF THE APPS: Send me an angel and rescue me ...

Best regards from germany.

Update: I tried to load my last IPOD-Backup but it breaks up in the middle of the process
I think BM2 crashed my RAM. Never got a problem like that before ...

Since you have lost the data anyway.... You might try deleting BM2 from the iPod, then restoring from iTunes. It should then put the "pre-problem" BM2 back on with the data.

Before doing that you should also try "rebooting" your iPod, then try the backup again....

Use an app like 'phoneview' for OS X to see if your files are still there...

    Thanks for the answers, guys!
I will try it later when I am back from work!
  • Hi,

Quick question, are you using latest BeatMaker 2.1.2 update ?
