How do you erase mixer automation?

edited February 2013 in Support
I thought I just posted this, but I don't see it. Anyway, is there a way to erase unwanted mixer automation? I started making volume adjustments with the faders in the mixer section and noticed I was still recording, and all those movements were recorded.

    Hi,

You can erase them from the Sequencer window, over the MAIN track timeline.

    Cheers,
    Colin
  • Thanks, but how? Everytime I select the main track, I get the mute - rec - rename - delete window. Do I need to draw in a region?

    Bump...
    Anyone figured that out?
How to cancel automation (for the whole track or a region)?

    Thanks.
  • Hi,

    To erase an automation:

    1. Open the sequencer, select the pattern containing the automation
(Alternatively, if there are multiple patterns on your track, select then and merge them)
    2. Press the edit pattern button (pen icon)
    3. Press the "EDIT" button on the bottom toolbar, which will bring the selector, find your automation, for example, TRACK VOLUME. Active automations are labelled in yellow
    4. Double-press the "SELECT" button to select everything
    5. Erase (cross icon)

    Hope this helps,
    Mathieu.
