Irig Midi and Beatmaker 2 problems
Hi guys,
I just bought Irig Midi to interface with Beatmaker 2 but can only achieve a basic clock sync between Ableton (my main sequencer) and Beatmaker 2. I can't seem to use a midi keyboard via Ableton with Beatmaker 2 and Irig Midi. If I plug a midi keyboard direct into Beatmaker 2 that works tho but then I can't sync it with Ableton. Thoughts welcome. Cheers.

Per their rep, it works with BM2, so you may get some info that can help you get it going there. If not just contact their support line with your problems....
I have been trying to deal with a similar issue and as far as I can tell there is no way to clock sync BM2 with other midi instruments. Most people are using midi controllers with BM2 and that works but syncing with other midi drum machines or instruments is apparently not supported. BM2 would have to support "core midi clock sync" in order for clock syncing to work.

I think we need to get intua to resolve this issue.
Rise up BM2 users and demand "core midi clock sync" !!!!!

Sorry everybody.. Has he always been like this?!?!
I don't use Live- what are the clocking options? BM2 only uses midi beat clock.
