1. is there ANY WAY to merge to projects together or copy on part of the track in one project into another project with having to sample it? - beat maker 2 is using loads of my phones CPU and my 3gs cant take it too well and lags/crashes at times
2. Is there anyway to reduce the lag without deleting tracks or fx busses? ive tried closing down all other apps ,but that doesn't seem to work that well:/

But here is a work your butt off around that i have used...
When running short on cpu, it is now a time where you must think about project management. In comes the cloud... Exporting mixed tracks and then reloading on a new drum machines pad banks can save your life <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" /><!-- s:) -->
Idealy we should be able to play the sequence and use the position and region bar to find things we want...playback and sample that audio to pads...save those instruments...load a new arrangement project with the name of...(your song name) arrangement 1 etc etc. Now use the drum machine to sequence the parts by triggering pads. Perfect! And with new features that are coming this technique is becoming more doable and worthy to do due to being able to stutter pad samples and use pad groups to do create cuts etc.
Think around the box and you can get the job done until the fixes come <!-- s;) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_wink.gif" alt=";)" title="Wink" /><!-- s;) -->
