beatmaker2, midibridge, ss25 help please?!?

hi,
I'm trying to get my ss25 to control beatmaker2, using midibridge.

I've read the existing topics here, and at audeonic, but still can't make it work.

the best I can manage is to set-up a keyboard sound in beatmaker2, then open the midibridge window and play the keys from there. when I try to do this in beatmaker, it just doesn't work.

is it the midi set-up in beatmaker that I'm missing?

any help is most appreciated!

    Hi breevanreyk,

    In Midi Bridge 'Preferences' menu, is "Run in background" set to "ON" ?
    You need to set this option, or MidiBridge will stop handling incoming SS25 notes if it's put in background.

    Also you must be running iOS5 to run MidiBridge and the SS25 in the background (iOS4 disconnects accessories when an app is backgrounded)
