BM2 influences other sounds of iPad (i.e. email) - Solution?

Since using the Beatmaker 2 App on my iPad 2 I have issues with all other sounds (e-mail, calendar warnings, keyboard etc.). After rebooting the iPod the sounds are back. But as soon as I use BM2 the iPad (and its sounds) becomes mute again. Interestingly no influence on music (iTunes), radio or TV and othe music apps.

Did anybody experience the same issuu? If yes how has this been solved?

    Hi Musician,

    When minimizing or switching apps, BeatMaker 2 will still run in background, and, as it is still processing audio, iOS alert sounds are muted. To restore system alerts/sounds, you need to manually close BeatMaker 2 by following these steps:

    – Double tap the Home button to bring up the multitasking bar
    – Press and hold anywhere on the multitasking bar until the icons start to wiggle
    - Press the minus button on the top left corner of the BeatMaker 2 icon
