had a quick question bout getting songs from my email to my

edited March 2012 in General
I had a friend send me two beats he and i made on an iPad. He sent them to my email on my laptop computer. I went to my email and downloaded the content. The files are saved as .bm2 files, and therefore i dont know how to open them because they arent like an Mp3 or wav file. I cannot open them in window media player ( i have a sony vaio laptop ) or even transfer them to my iTunes account. I have BeatMaker2 on my iPhone and want to somehow get these files on there so i can edit the two songs. If anyone has any suggestions i would greatly appreciate it. Thanks

.bm2 files can only be opened in BeatMaker. (Its a BeatMaker project file)
transfer the .bm2 file to your iphone via wifi (and make sure you have the samples associated to the project).

You need to export from BM as a wav or aiff to listen to your project in itunes
