Imported midi does not play

Need some help with midi import/playing. I'm importing a midi file in the sequencer but it does not play.Neither the instrument. I can see it on the sequencer as Main, including the pattern, but only the drum machine pattern is playing. Tried to play with midi configuration but no result.

Have to say I'm new to beatmaker and midi editors. Any guidance will be appreciated.

    Just to clarify, when you imported the midi file, did you move the midi region down to an instrument track?
