Which sample rates does beat maker 2 support?

edited April 2012 in Support
I have a file loaded that I know is a 24-bit file and all I hear is white noise when I play the sample. I'm assuming this means that this bit rate isn't supported. I did a brief scan through the manual to try to find out but I could find anything (still reading through the manual) Before I convert everything in my iTunes library I'd like to find out what format is going to work best. Also I believe that iTunes will convert everything to AAC so this may be another option assuming BeatMaker supports it.

Thanks

    Hello Upright,

BeatMaker 2 supports 8 to 32 bits sample resolution.
Could you send me the problematic files to support [at] intua [dot] net ?

    Thanks !
    Regards,
    Mathieu.

II just set iTunes to convert all of the files to ACC...I will see if this makes any difference and respond here. I may also clear out iTunes and reload the original wave files into iTunes and re-sync. Once I've done a few tests here I will let you know exactly what happened as it may have been a sync error. If the problem still persist after I've done a few tests I will send you the file(s) that are giving me trouble. Thank you for the speedy response.

    Hi again,

You can also try to convert them to regular 16-bits linear PCM 44.1kHz WAV/AIFF format.

    Mathieu.

Seems as if, for some reason, when the file was imported into BeatMaker there was some sort of problem. Upon deleting and importing again the file played just fine. I'll keep a close watch concerning this and if I have any more issues I will email you.
