dropbox implementation is like The file system...wow

Omg! I'd almost pawn my jock for your file system to be a spec of good!

So i get a text from my producer 500 miles away to listen to a sequence and see if I can lend a hand as far as doing some work on it etc. So I go to the dropbox import section of bm2, I dl the bm2 file...well it doesnt work because our samples...though the same are not in exactly the same place....by fault of the crappy filesystem btw....so instead of bm2 just searching and redirecting the filepaths on my machine...like any other system on earth...it just simply didnt locate them at all...so i tell him to make a folder save the file with the samples by checking the appropriate box...so then we go to share the file again....Oh my fugging God...do you guys use this app? I mean if you did, this would have been fixed by now I would hope...you have to copy each and every file one by one to drop box and on the other end you have to do the same process...now if you had like 1 to 4 samples not a problem...but 30 or more...and during this process our ipads both froze and had to be restarted several times...
We gave up...wont be able to do this simple task at all . What good is an app, if it is aweful to get things arranged, and imported exported well....un useable...that is what.

You need to make a zip process for you patches and sequences like refills for reason...its not a hard concept....but maybe this is something you cant implement for whatever reason...there is never going to be a day when i consider this type of dropboxing each and every file advanced...i should be able to just grab the "songname" file and put it in dropbox to share. Thats it....i should also be able to move files around...so my drum samples and my sequences are not all piled up in one horribly long scrolling nightmare.

If nothing else, please fix this!

    Hi,

Just to clarify, if you want to share your projects, please use the "Copy Samples" feature in the browser window, while saving your project or preset. Then, be sure to copy the whole directory.

We are aware it's not optimal, and we are thinking to pack everything in one handy file (ZIP).
This will come in a future update.

    Cheers,
    Mathieu.

And when this one file zip system is integrated your app will once again become useable

really, dubhausdisco, flawless???? ...hahahahah you must not have tranferred more than a sample or two at a time...but beatmaker needs you to bring them over one by one into dropbox, and then dl one by one from dropbox on the other end...if there are more than a few samples it becomes a slow and goofy process that usually ends with the machine getting stuck and a hard boot becoming necessary.

I tried the method you are pointing out Mathieu, it doesnt work any better...as that is what we did...clicked the little checkbox...it just puts it in a folder...then you go to dropbox and when you select that folder each file in it must be manually tranferred.

Since posting last, I have run into some trouble with Dropbox transfers.
    I stand corrected.
I Haven't had a problem with transferring multiple files exclusively, it behaves the same for single files, long files, short files, doesn't seem to matter.
Also I am on the new iPad (3) if that makes a difference.

Edit---- this is a make or break feature for me personally- Dropbox is the missing link between my desktop and iPad... Let's hope the issue isn't on dropbox's end
