Bm2 + akai mpkmini needs midi bridge.?

Hi there saw the post about midi bridge for synstation25 akai
Is this the same for mpkmini akai
Midi setup is picking it up
But I have no response
GarageBand seems to work fine though


Is there a midilearn /assign feature?
