Midi in from Beatsurfing
Hi there,
I have beatsurfing and beatmaker2. I cannot for the life of me get beatsurfing to control BM2!
I can get beatsurfing to control animoog by setting beatsurfer to midi channel 1. I trigger midi in beatsurfingand I hear output from animoog.
Buuuuuut, in BM2 (version 2.2, with 'virtual midi ports' set to on) I set a drum machine midiin to channel 2. Then when go back to beatsurfing and trigger midi notes in channel 2 I don't hear anything. Doesn't make a difference if I set 'omni' to on or off.
So my last idea was to get midibridge, within midibridge BM2 is there but there is no beatsurfing app/interface showing! So then, how does it work? where does beatsurfing send midi too? where does BM2 get its (VIRTUAL) midi in from? What am I not understanding here?
