Midi editing in sequencer- no preview?

edited July 2012 in General
Am I missing something, or do I have to draw a note to hear it? On the left in the piano roll it feels like they should be previews of the samples, but the only way I can make a sample play is by drawing a note. <!-- s:oops: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_redface.gif" alt="" title="Embarrassed" /><!-- s:oops: -->

Yeah that's how it works. Being able to play notes/samples by tapping on piano roll keyswould be useful, but I tend to just play things out live and then go in and fix or change whatever afterward.

I totally agree, this should be realized. Though I got used to previewing by drawing I still think it is super annoying like this, especially when working with drums.

What I would like to have:

    -Preview in the piano roll
-preview when dragging a note to another key (optionally to turn off in settings, because some might find this annoying)
