Does anybody else get crackling when using disk streaming?

For some reason when I use samples via disk streaming I hear a lot of crackle. Loading samples on the memory corrects this.
Are there any settings I should use to prevent this, or is this a bug? Or perhaps an issue with my iPad?
Please help!

Hi,
I experienced this when using longish samples & playing a lot of notes at the same time. My solution was to reduce polyphony <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" /><!-- s:) -->
