Mv8000 vs bm2 my observations

edited November 2012 in General
Mv cons
1. slow load times by far
2. mv only transfers usb 1 to pc or mac
3. No support at all dead product

Mv pros
1. Resampling is very much there! Built to do this well!
2. Timestretch is much better, sorry its true
3. Real pads vs screen pads not a competition
4. Effects number 71 pro effects covering all bases
5. Audio tracks are better to use, can be instantly cut yo pads
6. The sound is more professional on mv, but this is opinion
7. The groove templates and swing are accurate not all wrong
8. Cosmetically a beast vs bm2
9. The engine is better as far as automation goes
10. The price, well its ready to go at 150-300 ebay without ipad2
11. Mastering on board and burning redbook

Intua this is what you need to take in consideration when updating your app! Cons is where you beat it, but pros is where it beat your app. If you beat the pros you got a monster!

That is all

One more thought the cpu vs ipad2cpu is miles beyond on ipad so this shouldnt be a cpu issue period cuz this thing is a dinosaur about a decade old

Even though load times are longer on the mv, the workflow is much faster so it kinda evens out to my disbelief... Why?

    Forgot this, big one...
Sampling input can be run thru any mfx on mv, which is great for recording audio tracks
I.e. vocals can be compressed on spot, or guitars can be amped and distorted thru cosm models, or better yet cosm mic models on vocals to make a dynamic sound like a condenser mic. Nice
