Using iPhone as a controller for iPad

I know beatmaker has wist, but it seems only to control play pause etc is it possible to have the 2 devicrs

    The 2 devices in sync and be able to control the same project on both devices at the same time, ie have the sequencer running on the iPad, and then using my iPhone to control the mixer, is this possible?
