audio sample records everything

plugged in bass via zoom h4 and a simple usb coupling - worked just fine, no latency. BUT: all tracks (also with red button off in the sequencer) get recorded, even the metronome when nothing else is playing along. since monitoring is not activitated, i guess the problem is in the software settings. please, any help would be appreciated

    found out that it's obviously the internal ipad microphone that records everything (since my analouge metronome was also recorded) - internet says the mic cannot be turned off (imagine that!!!).
    so, new question:
    is there a way to enable the internal microphone in beatmaker2 ?
    that would be a great help in many procedures, iguess (hint for updates and new versions)
