Every time I chose to add an audio app as an instrument, the app plays whatever BM is playing rather than what I would like it to play. Why is that and how can I stop it. ??

Sounds like maybe you have a sample playing/loaded already on the same pad that you're adding a plugin on?
If that's true, just put your plugin instrument on a separate pad or in a new bank.
Edit - think I might have took your post wring. I took it as you meaning a sound was playing that wasn't from the instrument you loaded..
But same thing also applies with midi. If there's midi already in the timeline sequencer for the pad you're adding the plugin to, you need to add plugin to a different pad or bank.... Sorry if I confused things further!
