Any update on 1.3 Intua?

edited December 2008 in General
Hey there.. it's getting closer to two weeks after the original planned release.. any ideas when we'll get word that it's been sent to apple... I ask because it sounded like it was on its way over a week ago. We're all very anxious to play with this update.. is it another week, tops? two weeks? Just asking to give us a rough idea of when we may see it at this point.

Thanks.

  • Incidentally.. you may want to update your site... makes it sound like it's been sent.. perhaps something indicating why the delay occurred.. etc. Was it due to this 2.2 update?

    "Hello,

We have been polishing the new update, and it should be sent to Apple today or tomorrow.
We believe it should be available on the App Store fairly quickly by then.

    Thank you for your patience.

    New update
    "Hello,

Due to technical issues on Apple side since yesterday, we are having difficulties uploading the final BeatMaker 1.3 update on the App Store.
We are trying by all means to get the situation resolved as soon as possible.

    Thank you for your patience,

Just Two (2) questions for Intua Team :
    1. Will BeatMaker 1.3 become available before X-mass - delayed ("Due to technical issues") ..?!
    2. Will BeatMaker 1.3 support Noise.IO "export/record" function..?
    Kind Regards,
  • Wont support noise.io... someone else posted they are "in talks"... whatever that means. The only big use I see is having noise.io being able to export either directly to beatmaker.. which wouldn't make sense because you could only run one or the other at once... OR most likely the best bet is that noise.io writes the beatmaker format for banks.. so that you can "replace" a pad from a sound in the beatmaker bank you export noise.io to.

I think like many, I hope they added more than the 16 pads.. either some sort of bank option, or 32 pads, or something. Although I would prefer the 16 pads on the screen at once.. I'd imagine you could fit 32 smaller pads in the same space..or even 64.. but if you got fat fingers.. you might be screwed. How about a "zoom" function. <!-- s:D --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_biggrin.gif" alt=":D" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s:D -->

Starting to remind me of Steinberg .net here!! Anyone would think the present version doesn't work. Cheer up! <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" /><!-- s:) -->
