Hey.. in another thread, Intua responded that they sent it to Apple.. that was two days ago. It can take up to two weeks for Apple to test it before they put it up. Being that this is a pretty complicated app comparatively speaking, it may take some time. But.. good news is.. its in apple's hands.. so Intua did there bit. Just waiting on apple now.

It doesn't take two weeks to test new apps and especially updates to existing ones - "urban myth" associated with gossip (friend of the friend of mine told me so).
For example - Noise.IO posted their update on 28th of November and It became available on 3rd of December -5 days...

BTW; As long as Beatmaker 1.3 will make it's appearance at app store before Xmas, I'll be happy as "larry"...

My Current iPhone Apps are (not enough space in my signature):

BassLine - NOT 303, but still OK - missing distortion and delay
BeatMaker, awaiting 1.3 update...
BtBx - FANTASTIC,
Bloom - BRILLIANT,
FourTrack,
Guitarist,
iDrum (All editions) = simply BRILLIANT (I do own iDrum Mac/PC edition though),
iProRecorder - excellent for Mac (I do own Bias PEAK),
ir-909 - nothing else, but it's OK
Noise.IO Pro - Excellent, but NO sequencer...
PaklSound - Cool concept, but crap sounds
RJDJ - not enough control
Ocarina - iPhone mike killer

Wow..you got them all. I don't know..with the updates coming for BeatMaker, I don't think I want i-drum now. The sounds may be nice.. the interface looks to be easier overall.. but this new updated version, even current version seems mostly more powerful. With pitch/pan added, not to mention all the other things.. I think BeatMaker blows the rest out of the water. I realize some of them apps are completely for different purposes.. but those that are "similar".. well, to be fair I haven't tried most of those you list.. but for what I would use it for BeatMaker works great. What does bassline offer for making bass/synth patterns for example? Have to look at BtBx.. sounds like another beat making app even tho BeatMaker with 1.3 will be quite a bit more than that. iProRecorder.. gotta check that out. ir-909.. sounds like a tr-909 drum set. Noise.Io looks kewl for basic things.. but I am guessing it needs a few more updates to be really useful. I do like the ease of which you can make a synth appregiator like sound... if they add export to BeatMaker right on the iPhone.. that would be kewl.

Hopefully Beatmaker 1.3 will put all of these iPhones apps (mentioned above) to shame...

Sorry mate, but you sound like you're certain and I'll tell you you're wrong.
I won't go into detail who I know who's been waiting more than two week for his app to be updated so please don't generalize because noise.IO got their update in 5 days. To back this up
Here's some reading from macworld.com

"Problems with the App Store

As a consumer, one of the great things about the App Store is that it notifies you when updates become available for an application that you purchased. The notification works for free apps, as well (when it works at all, this is). The problem is that it’s taking a week or more in some cases for updates submitted by developers to post on the App Store.

The delay could easily be explained away as Apple being so busy with applications that the company is overwhelmed, but developers aren’t so sure that explains what’s going on. According to some developers, their updates are being ignored in favor of updates from larger companies.

“We submitted an update a week ago, and it still isn’t updated,” said one iPhone developer. “Some apps seem to get updated quickly, so some type of favoritism is evident. I’ve seen one day, and then I’ve seen two weeks — no one knows why the disparity, either.”

Updates from developers, especially in the early stages of a new platform, can be very important. A lot of times, the updates fix major problems like crashes or other issues that cause the app to not work as intended. That frustration is multiplied for developers when the update is done, but can’t be distributed because Apple has not approved its release.

“I’m not happy with delays involved, and the seemingly arbitrary favoritism that’s evident,” said the iPhone developer. “It’s either favoritism or just general chaos.”

Hope ti helps
