Fadeout when muting pads.

I get a weird, short but audible fade-out when muting a pad. Can kind of see how/why this might be an intended thing so I dunno if this is feature request or bug report?
If it is intended then a global option in settings for 'instant mutes' would be great.
Currently when using pad link and mutes for switching layers/drum kits etc it would be better to be able to do totally clean switches with no audible fade.
