Joey Livingston - Not Fun At All (Suspense/Horror)

http://tiltedsymmetry.com/2009/01/music/not-fun-at-all/

The goal of this piece was to create something disturbing to the ear, without losing structure and composition. For maximum effect, turn your speakers way up.

I used a featured artist kit. I couldn't remember which, so I went back through the artist library to see if I could find it, but had no success. I mangled most of the instruments anyway, perhaps beyond recognition.

Disturbing indeed! The first big surprise 'hit' blew out my eardrums, thank you very much! "Turn your speakers way up, indeed"!!!! But I like it, just for pushing the envelope and for relentless use of FX.

Just catching up on my responses. I know I'm way late, and I apologize!

Thanks for the comment, elemental. Sorry about the eardrums, dude. I really wasn't trying to be mischievous, though the intention of this song is to throw you off balance a bit, which I guess is mischievous enough on its own. Glad you enjoyed it, though!

I liked this composition very much...I think(my hummble opinion) we would need more of such soundexperiments, it broadens horizons.
    good job!

Not too bad, I really did like the darkness of it, but I will have to say, out of the two newest songs you put out, I really like "Angst of the Bubbleblower" the most, that one is just too cool ^.^

Thanks, a lot, Booch. Those are obviously two very different songs, so I know exactly what you mean.
