Hey Hey, Friends! ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ‘Š

For those of you who are interested in incorporating some hardware with your BM3 sessions - IT IS ON! <3

There are more episodes coming!
Midi clock sync really opens the doors on what is possible to do with BM3,
and i'm going to keep showing things you can do with it! :)

I hope these are helpful!

  • Great stuff Dean!!!

  • Thanks, Bro! ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ‘Š

Hurts me a bit to see that a sample is still needed to โ€˜activateโ€™ a pad. Where are the โ€˜midi onlyโ€™ pads? It should be a simple option just like selecting between a sample or a plug-in...

But hey, itโ€™s a nice videos anyway :)

    Cheers!

  • These videos are awesome.

Dean - I'm so proud to be one of your Patreons <3

Keep spreading the BM3 knowledge, love and iOS jams

I just wanted to chime in here because Iโ€™ve made too many templates.

A sample is not needed. Just delete the sample layer not the sample for an empty MIDI pad.

Only thing you wonโ€™t get is colored keys but they still work.

If not having colored keys is something that is bothersome, you can use a small sample like @DeanDaughters has done or an empty riff wav ๐Ÿ˜‰

    Thatโ€™s my tip anyways. Enjoy!

P.s. Dean, no need for me to overkill on the hype! You already know how I feel about these awesome tuts. Keep em coming!

  • Thanks Everyone! More to come, too!! ๐Ÿค—๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ‘Š

  • So helpful. Thanks! btw, I like those black walls. A few lava lamps & some neon lighting would be cool. ๐Ÿ‘พ

  • Good stuff as always sir ๐Ÿ‘Š๐Ÿผโ„ข๏ธ

  • ...aaaaand further down the rabbit hole we go! ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ‘Š

Episode 4 explains a really awesome way to use Beatmaker 3 to do LIVE LOOPING in your jams!

  • On-the-fly live looping in BM3, sync'd to AB Live/ERM - Yup, very useful indeed! Thanks.

So an analog pulse from Live/audio interface is driving the ERM. That's next level stuff. btw, those hardware master clocks are pretty much required if trying to drive lots of hardware sequencers from a sloppy Windows DAW.

These videos are priceless. Lots of great tricks - using repeats for quantizing; non-stop recording by deleting the MIDI (it's saved in the Track Helper automatically)...

  • ** "(it's saved in the Track Helper automatically)..." **

    Whoa! :o B)
I did not realize it was doing that! Total Bonus! <3
Thanks very much @StudioES for pointing that out! ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ‘Š

  • Awesome gonna check these out!!
