Sampler: what about some sort of scrubbing playhead?

... both in regular sampler page and edit page.
That would be very handy when dealing with long samples.

  • How does this differ from moving the start point?

  • The idea is precisely to be able to explore the sample by dragging the playhead wherever you like and not having to listen to it from the start.

Ahh, so not having to retrigger the sample with a key. That would be cool. I do work with long wavs, hunting for juicy bits. I would also like to be able to browse the sample library and have a waveform / playhead for searching within a wav before even loading it onto a pad.

    Exactly

    That’d be great, as well!
