How to chop a loop but only use some of the slices in a new drum machine preset?

I imported some of my Hadeeth 2 middle eastern drum loops into BM2, but I also want to use some 808 one-shots and create a worldy-dance fusion kit. Isn't there a way I can save the chopped slices to a folder, then quick load only the slices I want into only the pads I want? Alternatively, if I could move slices from one pad to another after saving the kit, that would work too. Anyone ever do this?
