Importing midi from other iOS apps

I have midi files created in FL Studio Mobile and Korg Gadget. Load them into the BM3 import folder. Open a bank, pull the file over into a sequencer track, get the midi import transposition dialog, but nothing imports. I can open these midi files in the other apps but not BM3. We’re talking notes here, not midi drum patterns. I can open the sequencer to check the midi data isn’t stored really high or at the bottom of the scale, there is nothing there.

Am I doing something wrong or is this broken?

  • It's not broken.

But because BM3 supports separate midi tracks for each one of its 128 pads (per bank) you often have to manually drag the midi notes onto the correct pad after import.

Let me see if I have a quick video demonstrating what I mean...
