clublime - jazzed down (from BeatMaker export to final mix)

Hi there!;)

Now this is why I loooooove BeatMaker!
I worked on this track for a week or so solely on iPhone, then exported all instruments to separate wav files, EQ'd them and added more intruments on PC, and BOOM! There you have it.

Here's the original BeatMaker export of the full track so you can hear what I heard whilest on train and bus:

And here's the final result after EQ-ing all tracks and adding more instruments and FX:

Huzaa! Let me know what you think of it.

Cheers,
Emil

    Thanks!

One tip I want to hand down to ya'll, please bare in mind that when you're on the road, you will be sure to overemphasize your lows. It's the basic problem I've run into so far, and I'm sure it isn't any different with you guys. Just keep your bass velocity at a medium feel and it will land where it's supposed to. I had to EQ a lot of it out to bring back the intended dynamics in this one, and it was a hell of a job, so be warned.

Just thinking out loud here... wouldn't it be cool if BeatMaker had an optional "finish" mode to filter out unwanted frequencies like the ones below 20 Hz and around 4500 Hz? You know, just to make sure you get rid of the really bad frequencies. Any thoughts on that dev. team?

Wow man, the sound quality of that track was phenominal. I really enjoyed it. Effort is definitely shown, and I love that in any artist.

The compression issue is what I need to take care of with all my tracks, but I have a hard time with it getting used to a new system, so I gotta figure all that out.

As for your suggestion to the Intua Team, I am completely on board. I think a "Finish" mode would be excellent. It would really save me from having to port the ones to my computer that I dont really need porting to Sessions for compression and fixing up, I could just take care of it all at once. Good thought man
